It will ask you to type a passphrase and then confirm it. $ steghide embed -ef testfile.txt -cf flower.jpg Where -ef is used to specify the file that needs to embed and – cf is used to specify the cover file that you want to hide it in.įor instance, the below command will hide the testfile.txt in a flower.jpg image file. You can use the following command to install the Steghide utility: $ sudo apt install steghide It can hide data in JPEG, WAV, AU, and BMP formats.
